Alhamdulillāh, we praise Allah, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and from the consequences of our actions. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide; and whomever He allows to go astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and messenger.
O believers, be mindful of Allah as He deserves, and do not die except in a state of Islam.
Allah (swt) says:
وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ ٤٢
“And that to your Lord is the final destination.”
(Surah An-Najm 53:42)
Every soul is travelling — whether consciously or unconsciously — toward its Lord. The question is not whether we are on a path, but which path we choose.
Some paths lead to distraction, ego, and forgetfulness.
Other paths lead to clarity, humility, and nearness to the Divine.
The believer’s task is to choose the path that brings the heart closer to Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Truly, in the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound…”
(Bukhari & Muslim)
The journey to Allah is not measured in miles — it is measured in the state of the heart.
- A heart that remembers Allah walks swiftly.
- A heart that is sincere finds doors opening.
- A heart that is humble receives light.
The Sufi masters often said:
“The longest journey is from the tongue to the heart.”
Meaning that to transform knowledge into lived sincerity is that journey.
Signs You Are Walking Toward Allah
A path that leads to the Divine has recognizable signs:
- You become more patient
- You become more gentle
- You become more honest
- You become more aware of your intentions
- You feel a quiet pull toward goodness
- You feel less attached to what distracts you
These are not accidents — they are gifts from Allah to the traveler who walks with sincerity.
The Path Requires Courage
To walk toward Allah is to walk against the current of the ego.
It means:
- Choosing truth over comfort
- Choosing discipline over desire
- Choosing remembrance over distraction
- Choosing compassion over anger
Allah never promised the path would be easy — only that it would be worth it.

How to Walk the Path That Leads to the Divine
- Purify your intention
Begin every action with “for Allah alone.” - Guard your heart
What you consume — with your eyes, ears, and thoughts — shapes your spiritual direction. - Keep good company
The path is easier when you walk with those who remind you of Allah. - Practice remembrance (dhikr)
Dhikr is the nourishment of the traveler.
It keeps the heart awake. - Seek knowledge and act upon it
Knowledge without action is a map never used. - Turn back to Allah often
Every traveler stumbles.
What matters is returning.
The Divine Path Is Not About Perfection
Allah does not ask you to be flawless.
He asks you to be sincere.
He asks you to keep walking — even if slowly, even if imperfectly.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if small.”
(Bukhari)
Your steps may be small, but if they are toward Allah, they are blessed.
O Allah, guide our hearts to Your path.
Make us among those who walk with sincerity, humility, and love.
Illuminate our steps, forgive our shortcomings, and draw us near to You.
O Allah, make our final journey the sweetest of all — the return to You in a state of peace.
Indeed, Allah commands justice, excellence, and kindness to relatives, and He forbids immorality, wrongdoing, and oppression. Remember Allah, and He will remember you. Be grateful to Him, and He will increase you.
