The subject of Trust is so important in our daily life: if people trust one another and if they act accordingly, they will live in peace and harmony. If we trust one another, but we do not act rightfully, we will create a state of anarchy, a state of confusion and a state of disturbance in the society.

4th Rabbi ath-Thani Urs Hazrat Abu Yusuf Chishti, 459AH/1067CE

Chisht-e Sharif, Afghanistan

Khwaja Abu Yusuf al-Chishti (ra) was one of the great Persian saints of Afghanistan. The level of his marifah and love for Allah is rare even among the saints. Khwaja Abu Yusuf r.a was the son of the sister of Khwaja Abu Mohammed r.a. His mother was waliayah of great sanctity who was so engrossed in the remembrance of Allah that she refused to get married until instructed to do so by divine inspiration. As Khwaja Abu Mohammed r.a had no children, he took Khawaja Abu Yusuf into his own care and gave him all the benefits of his spiritual learning.

Ya Sin 1-7

bismillahir rahamanir raheem

Imam Ahmad, Abu Daud, Nasai, Ibn Majah and Tabarani have related on the authority of Hadrat Ma’qil bin Yasar that the Holy Prophet said:

“Surah Ya Sin is the heart of the Quran.”

The Surah Ya Sin has been called the throbbing heart of the Quran because it presents the message of the Quran in a most heartfelt manner, which overcomes one’s inattention and indolence, stirring the spirit to action.

21st Ramadhan Urs Hazrat Ali, 40AH/661AD

Hazrat Ali (ra)

Imam Ali (ra) was the cousin of Rasul Allah (saw) and married his (saw) daughter Fatima (ra). They had two sons, Hassan and Hussein, and two daughters Zainab and Umm Kulthum, a third son, Mohsin, died during childhood. May Allah (swt) be pleased with them all. He (ra) was the fourth Caliph of Islam in the Sunni tradition and the first Imam of the Shi’a tradition. There is so much that can be said about Hazrat Ali, that I will leave it to one wonderful story about his mathematical genius and his kind way of settling problems. Continue reading
