The last ten days of Ramadan – Freedom

As salaam alaykum!
Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said,
“If any Muslim comes out of Ramadan without gaining forgiveness and goodness, he is a real loser.”
(Ibn Hibban and At-Tabarani)

The last ten days of Ramadan are very special days in the life of every Muslim. They are the most blessed days in the holy month of Ramadan, the month the Holy Qur’an was revealed. Although Prophet Muhammad (saw) was promised Paradise, he used to exert himself even more in worship during these last ten days, hoping to draw closer to Allah. The Prophet’s wife Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said,

Rasul Allah, (saw) has said:
“Ramadan is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle, forgiveness and its end, emancipation from the fire (of hell)”
— Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.: 93, Pg.: 342
We have now entered, by the grace of Allah (swt), the middle ten days of Ramadan, 1446. The middle ten days of Ramadan is the time for Maghfirah, forgiveness; the time to wash off our sins. Ramadan is the month to seek forgiveness and repentance. Having witnessed the Mercy of Allah (swt) in the first ten days of Ramadan by thanking Him for all that He has granted us, by being good to everyone and keeping ourselves at peace, we realize our relationship with our Rabb, and our role and duties towards Him. This is the time when Allah’s (swt) Mercy is at its peak, and it is best to utilize this opportunity by imploring Allah to forgive. Rasul Allah (saw) is reported to have said:

The First Part of Ramadan is Mercy
السلام عليكوم

Beloved friends, brothers and sisters – today we entered the sacred month of Ramadan, alhamdulillah!
Rasool allah (SAW) has said “The first part of Ramadan is a mercy……………”
Are we taking advantage of this mercy? Do we accept the mercy of Allah (swt) for us and are we merciful towards others?
I am always amazed and pleased when I see the evidence of the upsurge of Islam in this country. I remember I read an article about the call that Islam has to people of Hispanic Origin in this country and elsewhere. I have several contacts in Mexico of people who have converted to Islam.
