At the moment this is all I have on Hazrat Yadgar Chishti, his initial meeting with Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. It is a wonderful story. If you know more about him please send it to me via the reply at the bottom of the blog posting.
When Khwaja Moinuddin was in Isfahan (Iran), one day he went to a beautiful garden of the ruler of the city, whose name was Yadgar Mohammad. His servants asked Khwaja Moinuddin to go away, but Khwaja refused to do so. In the meantime Yadgar Mohammad came there. He saw the Khwaja Moinuddin, grew furious, lost temper, and called him names. Khwaja Moinuddin looked at him angrily, this made him tremble and he fell unconscious. Khwaja Moinuddin took some water and sprinkled on his face. Yadgar came to his senses, and was drawn towards Khwaja. He offered all his wealth but Khwaja declined and ordered him to return all such money as he had acquired unjustly. He complied with the orders. He freed his all slaves, divided his wealth among the poor, and became a disciple of Khwaja Moinuddin.
