He was the mureed of Muhammad Hassan Jili ul Kalimi and the Murshid of Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan, may the peace of Allah (swt) be upon all of them. His dargah is in Hyderabad, India where he taught.

Vera Corda [1913-2002] had successful careers in ballet, graphic arts design, nursing, and teaching before beginning her pioneering work in early childhood education and family development. As an artist, she illustrated children’s books with watercolors, designed and silk-screened scarf designs, and studied dance with Ruth St. Denis. She devoted her later years to her work as an educator and spiritual counselor. One of her greatest contributions was as a spiritual guide to parents and children. Beginning her training in the care and education of young children at the age of ten at the innovative Canon Kip Nursery School in the south-of-Market area of San Francisco, she went on to receive an Associate degree in the field of graphic arts at the age of sixteen. She later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and completed a Master of Arts degree in the Education of Exceptional Children at the University of California at San Francisco. While receiving additional training at Columbia University in New York, she studied with the leading pediatric specialist, Arnold Gesell. She was a Joel Katz Memorial Scholar at Columbia Pacific University, where she earned a Ph.D. degree in guidance and counseling.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) entered the mosque one day and saw an Ansari a resident of Madinah man there by the name of Abu Umaamah.

The Prophet p.b.u.h. asked him: ” O Abu Umaamah, why are you sitting in the mosque at a time that is not a prayer time?”

The original name of ‘Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’ was Syed Muhammad Usman Shah Marwandi who was born in 1177 CE in Marwand, Iran. His father, Syed Ibrahim Kabiruddin, was a righteous and devout dervish, and his mother was a princess. His family migrated from Iraq and settled down in Meshed, from where they again migrated to Marwand. During the Medieval era, Meshed and other cities of that region were prominent centers of knowledge, culture and civilization.

Hazrat Khwaja Fakhruddin (R.A.) – Sarwar Sharif : was the eldest son of Khwaja Sahib (Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti) (R.A.) who earned his livelihood by farming in Mandal town. He was a great saint and a scholar as well . After twenty years of Khwaja Sahib. (R.A.) death he died in Sarwar town, some 40 miles away from Ajmer. His Mazar is located near a pond in the town. His Urs is celebrated on the 3rd-5th of Shaban every year with great fervour. He was blessed with five sons. One of his sons, Hazrat Khwaja Hussamuddin was a perfect Sufi. Khwaja Hussamuddin’s grave is at Sanbar Sharif.
